Please bring only the following:

• your valid passport which was used at the point of registration with you on the test day, as you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to take the test if you do not bring your passport. Please inform the British Council Exams of any changes to your identity document before 11:59 am, at least one working day in advance, and receive an email response. If you do not do this you will not be allowed to take the test and you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
• one pencil and one eraser are allowed to be brought into the test room. Pencils with multi-functions, hanging items are not allowed.

Please do not bring your mobile phone or any other electronic equipment or other personal belongings into the test room. Other personal stationery or items (wallet, hat, correction fluid, highlighters etc) are not permitted in the test venue. Personal belongings must be left in the designated area which will be locked once the test begins. Please try not to bring valuables to the test venue as British Council cannot be responsible for these.

You will not be allowed to take the test if you do not bring your passport and you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

IELTS (Paper)

Written Test: Please arrive the test venue at 7:50 am on the test day to complete your ID check, finger scanning and digital photo taking. Candidates who arrive after 8.30am will be disqualified and will NOT be admitted into the test room. Refunds are not given.

Speaking test:Please arrive the test venue and finished the registration procedures 30 minutes before the scheduled test starting time

IELTS (delivered on computer)
For both Written and Speaking test:Please arrive the test venue and finished the registration procedures 30 minutes before the scheduled test starting time. 

Written test:
you should arrive at the test venue before 8:30 am for your ID check. If you arrive late:
- you will not be admitted to the test room
- you will not be allowed to take any of the test components
- you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer

Speaking test:
candidates are not checked prior to the scheduled interview time into the speaking test waiting room may not be admitted to the speaking test and will not be eligible for transfer, cancellation, or refund of any kind. Such candidates’ written test results will be voided as well.

The candidate will lose their full test fee, and will not be able to postpone the test. However, if medical evidence is provided within 5 days of the test date, the Exams Centre may adjust the decision based on the evidence. Only original medical certificates will be accepted and must state inability to appear for the test onthe scheduled test date.More information please website on (Transfer and Cancellation)

Please inform the invigilator in your test room immediately.

You should contact the IELTS invigilator or supervisor immediately at your designated test venue..

You may not quit the test. Otherwise you will be prohibited from taking any remaining part(s) of the test, and results of any completed part(s) of the test may be voided.

You must attempt all four components. If you are absent for any component, your test result will be withheld, and you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

All candidates should follow the speaking test schedule prepared by Examinations Services of the British. We regret that no change can be made to the arrangements for the test days at the request of the candidates.
